Veoliaforce joins forces for Haiti

Veolia Environnement is sending a dedicated team of nine specialists to Haiti in order to provide emergency water supplies and help safeguard human health. The company has sent 20 tons of emergency equipment for immediate use in drinking water production.

Veolia Water's specialists operate under the banner of Veoliaforce, Veolia Environnement's international crisis response team, specialized in providing immediate emergency response to natural disasters and environmental crises around the world. Veoliaforce is a humanitarian emergency unit supported by volunteer employees from the 4 divisions of Veolia Environnement.

In Haiti, the team will bring emergency equipment on line to provide water to Haitians in need, and then make an evaluation of the current water assets to determine the appropriate response.
